IBO Tra­di­tion­al is a divi­sion of the Inter­na­tion­al Bowhunt­ing Orga­ni­za­tion (IBO) exclu­sive­ly for the tra­di­tion­al archery.  After real­iz­ing a sig­nif­i­cant seg­ment of the archery com­mu­ni­ty was not par­tic­i­pat­ing in the com­pound events, the IBO became the first nation­al orga­ni­za­tion to embrace and rec­og­nize tra­di­tion­al archery cre­at­ing the first stand alone tra­di­tion­al event. In 2009, the very first IBO Tra­di­tion­al World Cham­pi­onship hap­pened in Erie, PA.  Mon­ey gen­er­at­ed by all events goes to pre­serv­ing our bowhunt­ing her­itage.
